Last week, my computer decided to die. No lights or sounds or anything! Cords and cables were fiddled with. Desperate prayers were said. Tears were shed. Alas, no avail as the computer is silent.
some good things:
I can check email on my phone. (responding is rather difficult). P-chef parties can be submitted at my parents. Purposefull break from technology. (AHHHH)
some bad things;
Is it fixable or do I need to get a new computer? This is a huge question as I was planning to save money by paying off debt and only buy big purchases with cash. I did get the rebate check, but I've been debating how to spend it. I will be tithing 10% of it. I was debating paying off a portion of my CC debt or buying a new full-size mattress set or maybe now buying a computer. But what do i need? the mattress set I have came from my grandparents with my bedroom furnature an is at least 20 years old - if not more. It is hard to run a home business without a computer. Getting out of debt is an amazing thing. sigh.

My brother in law is a teacher at Ferris, but he also does computer repair/building computers, etc... He could probably trouble shoot it for you for a very minimal cost. Let me know if you want his contact info.
hmm, i might take you up on that offer... I will let you know soon.
thanks!
