Yard Work

The test is over. YIPPEE! Party time! Dance in a little circle...

Now instead of studying, I can do yardwork, clean the house, organize my basement and all the other fun chores I basically ignored that last few weeks.

This afternoon, I spent between four and five hours (!) outside weeding one flower bed. It looks fabulous! Currently, it has 2 evergreen trees, three rose bushes and a peony bush. Garden wildlife is great! ants, moths and centipede's all made an appearance.
I will post pics soon (but not of the bugs). I am a good tired sore now and ready for bed.

I'm glad that I decided to take tommorow off from work - that way I can weed the other flower bed. It also has three rose bushes. Hopefully, I won't have too many more battle wounds! (I have a few scratches on my head...) I also need to stop by the local garden shop to ask about how to neutralize soil under my evergreen trees since there was about 3-4 inches of needles! (The little short ones.)

I also promise to post a new pic of the house without snow. Spokane DID have a long winter, but not quite that long...
