It's spring again in the Inland Northwest and it's time for spring cleaning and organizing. My friend C & I have been helping each other with projects from sorting out a storage room to rearraning a living room.
In addition, I painted the front metal security door of my house. It used to be white with a rusted bottom, now it is a glossy white. (although it does need another coat of spray paint!)

I like the changes! I don't remember the black shelves by the fireplace, are they new or did I just not notice them?

You've seen the shelves before they were painted. Yup, I painted white (!) shelves black! 4 cans of glossy black spray paint was cheaper than buying 2 new bookshelves and I didn't have to figure out a new place for them since I've moved the study upstairs to the second bedroom. I moved the shelves upstairs after I painted them.
