I am alive!

In case you've been wondering...
 Yes, I am alive.
No, I haven't fallen off the meal-planning wagon.
Yes, I've planned my meals for the week.
No, I haven't posted them.
Yes, I am a slacker, but I have a great excuse.
No, the house didn't burn down.
Yes, I've been extra busy.

I've spent the last couple of weeks applying for another position at my current company. It would be a step-up the career ladder into a different department. Hopefully it will come with a nice pay raise. I have vacillated between two extremes: Yes, the job sounds great! and No, I want a life!  I'm definitely excited about the opportunity, but concerned about a few things. The side I land on changes as I get more information. Through this process, I've learned more about how I make decisions: I gather information and my thoughts change as I add data. It might sound crazy but I don't think it is wishy-washy or indecisive. It is just a way to gather information until I can make a final choice. I request & appreciate prayers for wisdom in this process.

On a side note, my calendar has the following quote that has been making me smile this month.

"Life is the flower for which Love is the honey." Victor Hugo.

What exciting changes ahead! I'll be praying for the decisions to be made.

I thought I'd share your blog website with my mom. She is big into WW as well, and maybe she has the new book that you are giving reference to.
