Hebrews 11:39 - 40
"All these people earned a good reputation because of their faith, yet none of them received all that God had promised. For God had something better in mind for us, so that they would not reach perfection without us."
this scripture touched my heart this morning. it gave me hope that unfulfilled promises are okay and a part of my journey. Yet, there is the nudge to find what is better. I'm still contemplating the implications for my life but wanted to share. I found it encouraging that the promises of perfection are the destination of life and not the expectations.
