Happy Valentine's Day!

Today is Valentine's Day also known as Single Awareness Day. It seems like the one day that it really matters whether a person has a "significant other" in their life. In pondering this thought I realized that I have only had a SO for 3 of of the 32 Valentine's days that I've been alive. For the math-minded that is less than 10%. This year, I decided to take myself on a date. Church in the morning. Then off to Huckleberry's to pick up lunch from their deli which I brought home to eat. A spot of tea, a truffle and some knitting. Then mid-afternoon it was off to the symphony for some Mozart! Then back home to prep for bunco on Monday, dinner, wine and some chocolate. All in all a wonderful day to celebrate being single.

I must confess that it would have been wonderful to share it with another human. Alas, it was not meant to be. One of my friends requested to see pics of friends with their "sweeties" so i've posted the following pic of my beloved kitty, Sasha. She is just over 9 years old and I've been graced by her presence since she was 12 weeks old.
