Beat the BBC Book Count

In addition to my 3 New Year's Resolutions, I'm going to set a reading goal. It does not qualify as a resolution since I'm not trying to change myself, I am mainly looking for reading material other than what is on my book shelves.

During 2009 there was a Beat the BBC book count list that floated around Facebook. I've read about 55 of the 100 books listed. Over the course of the year, I would like to read all the books on the list. It will be about 1 book per week.

Is anyone interested in joining me in reading adventure?

Wow! That is a lot of reading! I cannot read that much with my schedule right now. I like to pick up a fiction book to read every once in awhile. I really like Karen Kingsbury. I am almost done with the Baxter family series. Other than my bible reading in the morning if I read anything else it's usually a parenting or marriage book. Just where I am in life. :) Enjoy!

Over the past year I have spent a lot of time re-reading books that I love or surfing the internet. With a goal of reading a certain number of new books, that should cut down the fluff reading. I've read & enjoyed a few Karen Kingsbury books. I haven't quite gotten to the parenting or marriage stage of life yet...
