I feel very accomplished. In the past week, I installed 1 new and 1 used side mirrors on my car.
Last spring, I accidentally backed into my garbage can which broke the passenger side mirror. It was still usable, so I didn't bother replacing it at the time. Then about 10 days ago, a deer t-boned my car and broke the mirror. If you look closely in the picture you'll see mud & smears on the car from the deer.
Overall, I saved myself over $300 by purchasing one part online and installing both of them myself with no male assistance. In the interest of full disclosure, the store employee where I purchased the used part gave me an overview of the process. BUT I went home and did all the work myself. I even figured out how to properly use a socket wrench.
